Unparalleled Care for Hospitalized Pets

At Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital, we're seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary ICU Technician to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our overnight shifts, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional care to our hospitalized and ICU patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, Urgent Care cases, oncology patients, and those requiring ophthalmologic attention.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Utilize expertise in collecting samples, administering medications, and calculating dosages to ensure our patients receive the best treatment possible.
  • Critical Thinking: Triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor.
  • Empathetic Communication: Educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $20 - $35 hourly wage pending skills assessment leveling & credentialing
  • 15% overnight pay differential
  • Even higher for VTS
  • Up to $2000 sign on bonus paid out after 90 days of employment
