Role Summary
As the Senior Product Strategist for Document Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping and directing the product vision for our cutting-edge document management solutions. This position requires close collaboration with the Director of Software Engineering to ensure that product development is in sync with organizational objectives and industry trends.
Your responsibilities will encompass the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and user adoption, with a strong emphasis on integrating AI-driven features to enhance both functionality and user experience. You will report directly to the Director – Digital Product Lead and collaborate extensively with various business units to promote product utilization and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate a detailed product strategy for the enterprise document management platform, leveraging AI technologies to address contemporary business challenges.
- Conduct market analysis and collect user insights to pinpoint needs and opportunities for product improvements.
- Work closely with the Director - Software Engineering (Document Management) to ensure technical development aligns with product objectives and customer expectations.
- Define user personas and scenarios to inform feature design and development processes.
- Manage and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing features based on value, complexity, and strategic relevance.
- Lead cross-functional teams throughout product development phases, ensuring effective communication and timely feature delivery.
- Design and execute an enterprise-wide rollout and adoption strategy, collaborating with Product and Technology teams across all business units.
- Analyze product performance and user engagement metrics to drive continuous enhancements.
- Create training and support documentation for internal stakeholders to facilitate platform adoption and effective usage.
- Advocate for the customer’s voice within the organization, ensuring that user feedback and needs shape product development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the enterprise software or document management sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to craft product strategies and effectively present recommendations to senior management.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with product metrics and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with diverse teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and leading scrum teams.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in business solutions is advantageous.
