Job Summary

As a Procurement Strategist at Addison Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive efficiency and productivity in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Implement and maintain a procurement system that ensures centralized inventory management.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure volume discounts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with department managers to implement an automated procurement system.
  • Manage and reduce supply costs through vendor contract management.
  • Establish and manage compliant vendor relationships.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing supplies, including freight contracts.
  • Partner with the Compliance Director to ensure supplies meet regulations.
  • Report and maintain budget transparency to the CFO.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in automated procurement systems and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with group purchasing organizations (GPOs), negotiating contracts, and managing budgets.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a healthcare organization.
