About the Role

CesiumAstro is seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team. As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and delivery of our products meet our customer's expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electronic components and circuit cards using SMT and other assembly techniques.
  • Interpret schematics, drawings, and other visual aids to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineers and design staff to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to ESD and FOD-controlled environment standards.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Manage inventory and place orders for supplies as required.
  • Complete quality control forms and maintain accurate records.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in electronic assembly operations, including SMT, AOI, and soldering.
  • Ability to work with team members to ensure production roles are clear.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to differentiate between colors and read parts lists.
  • Familiarity with undergoing routine preventive maintenance and working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
