About the Role

We are seeking a talented Production Lead to join our team in Austin, TX. As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for building and testing electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for gas delivery systems. You will also provide work direction and leadership for cleanroom assembly personnel, develop work schedules in conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager, and attend regularly scheduled production meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and test electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for gas delivery systems.
  • Provide work direction and leadership for cleanroom assembly personnel.
  • Develop work schedules in conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Attend regularly scheduled production meetings and disseminate information to cleanroom assembly personnel.
  • May provide staff training as required.
  • Attendance is an essential job function.
  • Works with 5s & visual controls.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to conduct on-the-job and skills training.
  • Good manual dexterity: ability to work with hand tools.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to effectively communicate to both internal and external contacts.
  • GD&T knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient in advanced assembly, general inspection, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of cable routing, harness configuration, soldering, wiring, crimping standards.
  • Strong attention to detail; quality focused and a quick learner.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree or equivalent experience.
Work Experience
  • 5+ years of related experience working in a cleanroom environment with previous leadership experience.
  • Experience in helium leak testing, module and sub-assembly testing, and inspection preferred.
