Critical Care Intensivist Advanced Practitioner

About the Role
Hartford Healthcare (HHC) is seeking a skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of Critical Care Intensivists. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in our critical care unit.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other health team members or specialists.
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of your practice, as designated by protocols, and identify problems outside of your scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician.
Requirements
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Preferred Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as an advanced practice provider in a critical care setting
