Job Summary:

Canon Solutions America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician IV to provide technical support to our customers in San Antonio, TX.

About the Job:

This is a customer-facing role that requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.

You will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures, servicing and repairing designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications, and preparing reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues.

Your Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Diagnose and repair complex technical issues.
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for analysis and improvement purposes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Typically requires general education and/or vocational training plus 4 to 6 years of related experience.
  • An Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering capacity from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Direct experience working as a field technician.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
