Job Summary
">The Commercial Security Systems Account Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology while ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.
This role involves creating market share through new customer acquisition and managing existing accounts to meet their security needs.
A strong understanding of product lines and exceptional relationship-building skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
">The Commercial Security Systems Account Executive will be responsible for:
- Promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory
- Leveraging relationships and closing new business for Johnson Controls Security and ensuring customer retention
- Selling additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities
- Maintaining productive working relationships with existing customers
- Conducting post-installation follow-up by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met, and affirming customer satisfaction once the customer has been in service
Requirements
">To be successful as a Commercial Security Systems Account Executive, you will need:
- Excellent oral, listening, written, and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior-level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations
- Results-driven with good time management that will enable you to meet performance goals
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry, demonstrated by the consistent ability to meet and exceed quota
Salary Estimate
">The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
