(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (General) - A well-established non-profit organization dedicated to behavioral health services, operational since 1967, is looking for a qualified Psychiatrist to support a diverse range of patients, including both adults and children.

The role involves conducting thorough assessments of patients to establish accurate psychiatric diagnoses and develop comprehensive biopsychosocial treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and engage in the treatment strategies for all patients assigned to your care.
  2. Evaluate patients for the need for psychiatric medications and prescribe accordingly.
  3. Request necessary laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis and ensure the safety of prescribed treatments.
  4. Collaborate with both internal and external healthcare providers regarding shared patients' treatment plans.
  5. Review and authorize relevant documents that require physician approval, ensuring they align with patient care standards.
  6. Participate in medical staff meetings as required.
