- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
- Assist with visual merchandising, including stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining store displays.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and conducting cycle counts.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of products, services, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining store equipment and facilities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
