Position Overview:

The Valet Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both guests and team members at Hard Rock International. This position is tasked with overseeing the Valet Department, ensuring the seamless transportation of guests and their vehicles, as well as managing shuttle services and coat check operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock International for their entertainment needs; actively engage in building and maintaining guest relationships while mentoring team members to enhance service quality.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service, positively influencing interactions with both guests and staff, and demonstrating resilience in managing challenging situations.
  • Ensure efficient and courteous service for all guests arriving and departing.
  • Oversee the smooth traffic flow to and from the venue.
  • Document safety incidents, violations, or property damage as necessary.
  • Address guest complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain effective communication with both staff and management.
  • Assist the Valet Manager in daily operations and decision-making in their absence.
  • Monitor and uphold guest service standards in accordance with established objectives.
  • Train, assess, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary guidance and resources to fulfill their roles effectively.
  • Ensure vehicles meet safety, cleanliness, and reliability standards as dictated by company policies and legal regulations, reflecting a positive company image.
  • Participate in meetings and complete assigned follow-up tasks.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant experience in valet services or guest transportation for at least six months is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as per regulatory requirements.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings is mandatory.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to create a service level that encourages guests to return, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, professionalism, and an outgoing personality.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, including the ability to make decisions and foster teamwork.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management capabilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical mobility to navigate various areas of the venue.

  • Strong communication and listening abilities, with proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to manage interactions with both internal and external customers, demonstrating patience and diplomacy.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with specific vision capabilities.
