Job Overview

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of the Gaming Operations Manager, the role is focused on delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. This position oversees staff and resources related to Table Game Operations during a designated shift, ensuring adherence to established regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Foster an environment that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Rockford for their gaming entertainment; actively work on building and maintaining guest relations while mentoring team members to ensure outstanding guest service.
  • Directly oversee dealer operations in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop Table Games team members to ensure they deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Responsibilities include training team members, planning, assigning, and directing tasks.
  • Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for open positions.
  • Evaluate performance, provide rewards, and administer disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Monitor and track guest play.
  • Assist guests in obtaining markers.
  • Ensure accuracy in buy-ins and compliance with all IGB gaming regulations and statutes.

Non-Essential Job Functions

  • Participate in seminars as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis)

A High School Diploma is required. A minimum of three years of experience in table games is required, with two years in a Dual-Rated management capacity or higher preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of all primary casino games and most secondary games is essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board regulations.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
  • Must pass drug screening.
  • Candidate must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Prior experience in the gaming industry is strongly preferred.
