Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Cynet Systems is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our clients, ensuring seamless IT operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise to evaluate and resolve IT incidents and problems, prioritizing business impact and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Proactively promote positive customer relationships, mentoring others to ensure client satisfaction and organizational success.
  • Take ownership of customer problems, working with a sense of urgency to resolve incidents and problems, and communicate progress to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk and other technical teams to provide updates on work progress and ensure effective communication.
  • Develop and implement information technology solutions to enhance organizational success, staying abreast of current technology trends and emerging issues.
  • Work with Data Center Operations to manage user file server data storage, network reservations, data restores, and account creations and modifications.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to identify application issues and provide technical detail for development teams.
  • Work with network infrastructure teams to identify network issues and provide significant technical detail for network hardware resolutions.
  • Lead projects that require directing the work of others, assessing and integrating the skills and strengths of individuals for project and organizational success.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all responsible areas, ensuring operational standards and compliance with IT internal and external Service Level Agreements.

Requirements:
  • Significant technical knowledge and experience in computer hardware, software, peripherals, networking protocols, and communications.
  • Ability to lead projects, assess and integrate skills, and develop documentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to stay abreast of current technology trends and emerging issues, identifying opportunities for technical solutions to enhance organizational success.

Cynet Systems is committed to maintaining the highest level of security and data protection. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the requirements of the IT Security Office and protecting data from unauthorized access, alteration, destruction, or usage.
