LVN - Primary Care Physician Assistant - SRS Downtown - Day - FT

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Primary Care team at SRS Downtown. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assist patients, staff, and physicians in maintaining a high level of efficiency and customer service while providing quality care to a designated patient population.
- Administer medications safely and accurately per guidelines and written order, ensuring verification by a licensed person and documentation of all medications administered.
- Prepare patients for examination or procedure, obtain complete and accurate consent for procedures/surgery, and prepare and label biopsies in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Accurately document patient care per protocol, partner with physicians to continuously learn and expand clinical knowledge base, and listen to patients, collect pertinent information, recognize the urgency of the patient's problem, and route to physicians.
- Provide assistance to PSRs in resolving issues related to front desk responsibilities, including scheduling and telephone management, and act as a positive role model and ensure appropriate service delivery.
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
- Preferred qualifications include 1 year LVN experience in a related clinical area, ambulatory care experience, ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association, and IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) - Various-Employee provides certificate.
This is a full-time position working day shifts at SRS Downtown. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize patient needs, and respond to changing circumstances.
