Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse - Urology

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Urology team at SRS Scripps Ranch. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time, day shift position that requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients, staff, and physicians in maintaining a high level of efficiency and customer service while providing quality care to a designated patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients, staff, and physicians in maintaining a high level of efficiency and customer service.
  • Provide quality care to a designated patient population.
  • Assist with medical procedures, including urology exams and procedures.
  • Administer medications safely and accurately.
  • Document patient care events in a thorough and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians.
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association (preferred).
  • Vocational Nurse IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification - Various-Employee provides certificate (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year LVN experience in a related clinical area.
  • Ambulatory care experience.
