LVN - Primary Care - SRS Downtown - Day - FT

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Primary Care team at SRS Downtown in San Diego. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assist patients, staff, and physicians in maintaining a high level of efficiency and customer service while providing quality care to a designated patient population.
- Administer medications safely and accurately per guidelines and written order, ensuring verification by a licensed person and documentation of all medications administered.
- Prepare patients for examination or procedure, obtain complete and accurate consent for procedures/surgery, and prepare and label biopsies in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Accurately document patient care per protocol and partner with physicians to continuously learn and expand clinical knowledge base.
- Use universal precautions and demonstrate knowledge of infection control policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance to PSRs in resolving issues related to front desk responsibilities, including scheduling and telephone management.
- Participate in clinical projects as directed by the physician or manager.
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians - REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association - REQUIRED
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 Year LVN experience in related clinical area, Ambulatory care experience, ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association - PREFERRED, IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) - Various-Employee provides certificate - PREFERRED
This is a full-time day shift position, with a 10-hour shift and as-needed weekend requirements. The hourly pay range is $43.029, with the actual pay rate and pay grade dependent on various factors, including years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, and alignment with similar internal candidates.
