Job Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the local Toolmaker (or assume responsibility in their absence) in managing mold shop operations. Your key tasks will include:
- Performing mold cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and repairs.
- Overseeing inventory control of all mold-related spare parts.
- Assisting in the modification and repair of components as necessary.
- Sharpening cutting rings and stitch knives.
- Reporting any damaged equipment to the Toolmaker or Production Manager.
Mold Maintenance Duties:
Engage in preventative maintenance activities and collaborate closely with Production Planners to ensure toolroom operations align with overall production objectives.
Performance Metrics:
Quality of work will be a primary measurement of success in this role.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in mold maintenance or preparation is preferred. Candidates should possess:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts.
