Maintenance Technician

Job Type:
Part-timeSchedule : 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
Starting Pay :
$17 per hour

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment
  • Inspect and test electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
  • Assist in setup and installation of new systems
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on heating and plumbing systems
  • Ability to navigate smart phone, electronic work orders
  • Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
  • Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.


Requirements:

  • Maintenance experience is preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic technology (smart phone/computer)
  • Organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at HRM. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment, inspecting and testing electrical, hydraulic, and other systems, and assisting in setup and installation of new systems. You will also conduct repairs and maintenance on heating and plumbing systems, and perform manual repairs when necessary.
