Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining proprietary equipment, performing predictive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting facility maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install and set up proprietary equipment, conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks, and perform minor modifications and adjustments to machinery as needed.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Utilize predictive maintenance methodologies, such as condition monitoring and diagnostic tools, to identify potential issues before they lead to downtime or production disruptions.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose technical problems and malfunctions in molding machines using a systematic approach to identify root causes accurately.
  • Facility Maintenance Support: Contribute to general facility maintenance tasks beyond equipment-specific responsibilities, maintain a safe and organized working environment, and collaborate with the facilities team to ensure a well-maintained and conducive production environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
  • Skills: Knowledge of industrial maintenance safety, ability to read basic blueprints and schematics, familiarity with power transmission systems and industrial controls, basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, experience with programmable controllers, knowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculations, problem-solving and team collaboration capabilities.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, reaching, and occasional climbing or balancing. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
