Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage equipment inventory and schedule service requests in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Provide training and support to clinical staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the department manager to develop and implement service strategies for equipment.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment.
  • Valid driver's license (for field service positions requiring travel).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision.
