Senior Product Manager

Job Type: Full-time
Description: $2,500 sign-on bonus after the successful completion of 90 days. The sign-on bonus is available exclusively to new employees who apply directly, not through a third-party recruiter.
The Senior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in managing SENKO's line of VSFF connectivity solutions, specifically targeting Data Centers, Hyperscalers, and future high-density fiber optic deployment.
This position requires a deep understanding of evolving market trends, particularly within the data center and hyperscale ecosystem, and the ability to anticipate technological shifts in fiber optics and next-gen networking.
The ideal candidate will drive product development, manage the product lifecycle, and collaborate across functions to align products with the strategic objectives of the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Actively seek opportunities to enhance profitability and portfolio of products in data center and hyperscaler markets through targeted strategies, including partnerships, customer feedback, and new market entry.
- Lead the development lifecycle for VSFF connectivity solutions, working closely with R&D and engineering to ensure products meet emerging customer needs.
- Partner with marketing to create focused promotional campaigns that address the unique requirements of the data center and hyperscaler markets, ensuring competitive positioning through innovative features.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities in fiber optic connectivity, particularly regarding advancements in data center interconnect and high-speed VSFF applications.
- Collaborate with senior management to define long-term strategies for product growth, particularly in next-generation data centers and hyperscaler cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with company objectives and technological innovations.
- Drive in-depth research into customer needs, integrating customer feedback into the product development process to ensure market relevance and future innovation.
- Be a resource for the Sales team, empowering them with deep product knowledge and the tools they need to sell into data center and hyperscaler environments. Ensure they understand the specific advantages of SENKO VSFF solutions in these high-performance applications.
- Proactively engage with end-users and key stakeholders, traveling with the Outside Sales team to drive business growth and secure product placements in key projects.
- Act as a technical lead for VSFF connectivity, ensuring a smooth transition from design to manufacturing while meeting rigorous customer demands.
- Oversee the creation of technical documentation, marketing collateral, and spec sheets that support the sales process for high-density and high-bandwidth environments.
- Participate in key industry trade shows focused on data centers, fiber optic technology, and hyperscaler connectivity, actively identifying new market trends and potential customer engagements.

- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering preferred. Other technical degree, or equivalent work-related experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects or products involving tangible goods, preferably in a technology-driven or manufacturing environment.
- Previous 2 years' experience with fiber optics, especially in data centers environments required.
- A background in managing technical products, particularly in the connectivity or telecommunications industry, is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have the ability to quickly learn and understand the technical specifications of fiber optic products.
- Experience working in global markets or coordinating with cross-functional teams across different regions is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with additional knowledge of project management software and CRM tools being a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including R&D, engineering, marketing, and sales.
