Working in this role means being part of a community that values both professional excellence and personal well-being. Key Responsibilities of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist

  • This role involves direct patient interaction and support for radiologists and/or medical staff while conducting magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations in accordance with physician directives.
  • Responsible for the operation of MRI equipment, including flow rate injectors, patient monitoring systems, and image archiving systems.
  • Perform various administrative, clerical, and cleanliness tasks such as customer service, examination preparation, and work area maintenance, as well as telephone communications, data entry, information retrieval, and infection control.
  • Must hold ARRT Registration.

Qualifications for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist

  • An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
  • ARRT registry is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Radiology and 2 years in MRI is preferred.
  • Opportunities for Day and Evening shifts are available.
