MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Competently perform MRI procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy
- May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or Magnetic Resonance Program
- Certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Certified MRI Technologist (ARMRIT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
- General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
This is a full-time position with a 12-hour shift schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
