Trading Application Support Analyst

Insight Investment is seeking a skilled Trading Application Support Analyst to join its team in Boston. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch support to the trading applications used by the company.

The role involves working closely with the trading teams to ensure that the applications are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes troubleshooting issues, developing solutions, and implementing changes to improve the overall performance of the applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support to trading teams to resolve application-related issues
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve application performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications
  • Identify and escalate potential risks and issues to management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company's applications remain competitive

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supporting trading applications and portfolio management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with ETL and scheduling tools
  • Experience with development languages such as Python, VBA, or C# is a plus
