Key Responsibilities:

  • Work the 3rd Shift with a 7 on / 7 off schedule.
  • Maintain compliance with state pharmacy technician licensing requirements.
  • Utilize previous pharmacy experience to excel in your role.

Additional Benefits:

  • Reimbursement for pharmacy technician license fees for new hires and current employees.
  • Engage in data entry to process prescriptions and facilitate reimbursement/payment, applying your knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology.
  • Read and accurately input prescriptions and medical information, including drug calculations and physician orders into our computerized system.
  • Conduct system operations such as order entry, billing, and updating medical records.
  • Address and resolve issues related to claim denials by staying informed on Medicaid regulations and processes.
  • Assist in the training and evaluation of Pharmacy Data Entry Technicians.
  • Perform essential Pharmacy Technician duties as needed.

All responsibilities must align with the standards outlined in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, as well as applicable federal and state laws.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in data entry within a long-term care pharmacy setting.
  • Proficient in computer operations.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid claims regulations and processes.
