About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Care Engagement Specialist to join our team at NRG Energy. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders, including operations, technology, marketing, and regulatory counterparts.
  • Support the care and retention organization's back-office processes, including corresponding with local utilities, reporting, and scheduling functions.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve business performance.
  • Conduct training and coaching to internal staff on company products and services.
  • Evaluate reporting to track progress against objectives and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role with cross-functional sales, marketing, and retention experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to provide effective coaching and guidance to team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and able to learn new software and systems quickly.
