Position: Customer Service Representative

Job Overview: Intrepid Control Systems is seeking a dedicated and approachable Customer Service Representative to efficiently manage tasks and provide exceptional support to our clients. This role involves assisting our team and customers with inquiries related to product availability, pricing, shipping timelines, and any potential delays in delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with incoming callers and visitors.
  • Provide customers with information regarding product availability, pricing, shipping schedules, and any delays.
  • Respond to emails promptly and professionally, ensuring all communications are addressed within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Utilize software tools such as BlueSky and QuickBooks to manage outgoing orders effectively.
  • Conduct research and compile data for various reporting needs.
  • Oversee the shipping of products to ensure timely delivery.
  • Process customer orders and coordinate shipments within a 24-48 hour window.
  • Maintain organized office forms and documents, applying knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and OpenOffice.
  • Keep files organized and accessible, regularly updating and purging as necessary.
  • Efficiently operate standard office equipment, including telephones, computers, printers, and scanners.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives.
  • Communicate current needs and updates to team members and other departments.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Two to five years of experience in a similar role.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals of varying competencies.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
