Pioneer Metal Finishing Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Product Launch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the successful introduction of new products within our surface coating capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Strategies and Planning: Work closely with all departments to manage all facets of NPI (New Product Introduction) business opportunities.
- Create and Manage Project Plans: Develop detailed project plans and timelines for new-product surface coating processing.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Participate in customer meetings, internal front-end reviews, and planning of NPI.
- Manage Data and Reporting: Set up and enter all applicable data into the company's ERP system to develop a 1st Article workstream.
- Facilitate Quotes and Orders: Work closely with Sales to evaluate process and tooling requirements for NPI during the initial quoting phase.
- Provide Engineering Support: Offer technical support for various stages of manufacturing operations.
- Identify and Resolve Delays: Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve NPI project delays and setbacks.
- Monitor and Report Progress: Track and report on NPI project progress to other managers and support teams.
- Collaborate with Suppliers: Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and services associated with NPI projects.
- Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain associated documentation and data reports associated with NPI integration.
- Support Quality and Engineering: Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Ensure Compliance: Collaborate with all departments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Root-Cause Analysis: Participate in dispositioning NCR reports and developing contingency plans for NPI bottlenecks.
- Support Safety Initiatives: Collaborate with the Chemistry Department to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree: In engineering, mechanical, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Background: Strong technical background in a related technical field and practice.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Quality Standards: Knowledge of basic quality standards (ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
- ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus.
