At Mr. Cooper Group, we're seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll play a critical role in assisting our existing portfolio clients with their home buying and selling needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field calls from various lead sources with a working knowledge of our campaigns to drive a tailored customer experience.
  • Understand, communicate, and consult on various Mortgage Loan Program guidelines to customers and Real Estate Agents.
  • Consult with customers on various loan options based on loan product guidelines and their wants, needs, and benefits.
  • Effectively communicate Mr. Cooper's Value Propositions to customers and Real Estate Agents.
  • Perform outbound calls to Prequalified and Pre-approved customers with a working knowledge of our campaigns to drive a tailored customer experience.
  • Take ownership of customer escalations to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Participate in staff and team meetings, as well as mortgage training provided by management.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with Real Estate Agents.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2+ Years' Experience as a licensed Purchase Loan Officer
  • Desire to work in and expand knowledge of the Mortgage Industry
  • Desire to expand Customer Service, Sales, and Consultation skillsets
  • Desire for a Career Path within the Mortgage Industry
  • Ability to learn and work within technical systems, including Lead Management and Loan Origination Systems, and Microsoft Office products
  • Driven to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
