Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Staff Registered Nurse to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including those with complex needs.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff in clinical and professional practice.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Identify and address areas for practice improvement, using research-based evidence to achieve quality measures and patient safety outcomes.
  • Model and promote a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Three years of nursing experience, with one year in a specialty preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State licensure within 60 days.
  • Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
