- Identify staff development opportunities for professional growth of colleagues.
- Collaborate to foster healthy relationships in the work environment.
- Improve nurse satisfaction by serving as a role model and mentor.
- Role model patient and family-centered care standards.
- Develop, update, and communicate plan of care.
- Advocate on patient/family's behalf to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns.
- Model standards of care related to the nursing process.
- Anticipate/prevent and recognize/resolves early declines in patient condition.
- Identify areas of practice improvements with research-based evidence.
- Model independent time management and prioritization of daily tasks.
- Implement department strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Identify opportunities for practice changes and performance improvement.
- Investigate and incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Champion new care pathways or service line implementations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
- Three years of nursing experience.
- One year in specialty preferred.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
