Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Associate II to join our team at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality reviews of scanned documents, processing death certificates, coordinating microfiche projects, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of Release of Information requests. Additionally, the candidate will serve as the department payroll coordinator, process imported documents, and perform research for enterprise Doctor Master and referring physician database.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality reviews of scanned documents
  • Process death certificates
  • Coordinate microfiche projects
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of Release of Information requests
  • Serve as department payroll coordinator
  • Process imported documents
  • Perform research for enterprise Doctor Master and referring physician database

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Health Information Management program and equivalent of six months of full-time clinical or administrative healthcare experience
  • Successful completion of accredited medical office assistant education program and equivalent of one year of full-time clinical or administrative healthcare experience
  • High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and equivalent of eighteen months of full-time clinical or administrative healthcare experience
  • High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and equivalent of one year of full-time Roswell Park clinical/administrative healthcare experience

Salary Information: The salary range for this position is $39,215 - $48,294 per year, which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
