About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for our products, ensuring we are working backwards from customers and utilizing data analysis to guide us.
  • Lead internal technical conversations by outlining the technical design, being the owner of trade-offs between technical cost and business value.
  • Partner effectively with other leaders involved in the design, development, and delivery of software systems and features.
  • Influence adjacent teams' roadmaps and collaborate with them regarding approach and prioritization.
  • Create success measurements linked to desired customer outcomes, set goal targets for these measurements, and be responsible for defect identification, communication, and reporting.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical product management experience with Internet business experience.
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or other related fields.
  • Experience in taking a product from conception and definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
