Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Assist patients with walking, transfers, and collecting specimens as needed. Perform screenings and assist physicians/nurses with various procedures.
- Clerical Duties: Send/receive patient medical records, obtain lab/X-ray reports, and complete forms/requisitions as needed.
- Environmental Responsibilities: Set up instruments and equipment, clean exam/procedure rooms, and maintain infection control.
- Organizational Responsibilities: Respect/promote patient rights, respond to emergency codes, and share problems with immediate supervisor.
- Clinical Medical Assisting: Perform medical/surgical asepsis, sterilization, and instrument wrapping. Check vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and administer medications.
- 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
