Medical Support Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Support Professional to join our team at North Shore, LTD. Defunct. As a Medical Support Professional, you will provide administrative support to our physicians and patients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Collect co-payments and complete patient registration
- Provide administrative support to the physician practice, including greeting patients and escorting them to exam rooms
- Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for office visit
- Perform basic vitals, such as blood pressure, height, and weight
- Phlebotomy and injections may be required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred
- One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred
