Warehouse Inventory Specialist

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels in the warehouse. This involves counting merchandise on the warehouse floor and comparing it to information maintained in a database to ensure the amounts on the database are correct.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform weekly cycle counts to verify inventory levels
• Count product in different departments and scan it with an LRT Gun to enter quantities
• Move product as needed to ensure accurate counts
• Research discrepancies between physical count and database count in the proprietary computer system (JSS)
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product location and detailed information
Requirements:
• Excellent math skills and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to walk, climb, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
• Comfortable with heights and commitment to company values and strong customer orientation
Work Environment:
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to industrial vehicles. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Compensation:
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist will be compensated at a rate of $14.73 per hour.
