Medical Equipment Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Repair Technician to join our team at Erbe USA Incorporated. As a key member of our technical services department, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of medical devices, ensuring they are functioning properly and safely for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, including annual maintenance on demonstration equipment, testing documentation, and service reports.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on OEM equipment and coordinate returns to the manufacturer for repair.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels of parts and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and consultation to customers and sales representatives via phone, and participate in the set-up and breakdown of training equipment.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of repairs, maintenance, and quality control activities.
- Education: Technical degree or higher in electronics or a related field, or significant military training or experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in medical electronics repair or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and service-related software.
This position operates in a professional office environment, with routine use of standard office equipment and electronic devices.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this position include standing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 20 pounds, with regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.
TravelThis position requires no measurable travel.
