Individuals in the Information Technology and Digital Analyst job family play a crucial role as the primary link between business and technology stakeholders, transforming business concepts and processes into actionable requirements that support operations across the entire CommonSpirit Health organization.

Solutions must be crafted at optimal costs while adhering to CommonSpirit's IT standards, governance, and controls.

To excel in this role, individuals must possess a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities. This entails a deep understanding of customer business needs, processes, and functions.

Individuals must quickly comprehend business requirements and evaluate their impact on IT operations and systems. They are responsible for facilitating the technical requirements analysis process, cultivating strong working relationships with business partners, and enhancing their knowledge in designated areas of technical proficiency.

Specifically, this role focuses on hardware and software configuration management within the ServiceNOW platform.

Members of this job family must have the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues effectively.

Additionally, they must possess exceptional communication skills and the capacity to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.

They should also be adept at swiftly assessing the impact of issues, metrics, and dependencies to identify, prioritize, and implement enhancements.


The Senior Analyst will demonstrate comprehensive mastery of processes and technologies relevant to their area of responsibility within the ServiceNOW platform.

Assignments are extensive in scope and highly intricate.

They assist in evaluating, designing, and implementing services for new or modified processes or solutions, while also providing escalation support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts.


Responsibilities:
Oversee processes and ensure that all maintenance activities are executed according to established procedures. Utilize software and data analysis to investigate issues, gather performance metrics, and generate reports. Diagnose process challenges and initiate actions to sustain or enhance service levels.

Initiate reviews of the benefits and value of processes for tools and procedures, recommending improvements as necessary.

Lead targeted technical analysis discussions focused on software and hardware provisioning data, subscription and entitlement workflows, while maintaining communication channels with contracting and finance departments.


Assess the need for analytics, evaluate the problems to be addressed, and determine which internal or external data sources to utilize or acquire.

Manage vendor relationships and apply suitable techniques to analyze data, derive insights, and create value to support decision-making.


Accountable for completing all assigned tasks and associated documentation within agreed timelines, while effectively communicating across teams and all levels of management.

Engage in one or more assignments as an expert, occasionally providing direction as needed.

Assignments may range from medium to highly complex projects or tasks.


Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of information and undertake necessary corrective actions under guidance, which includes extracting and analyzing data from Lawson and ServiceNOW.

Select, acquire, and integrate data for analysis. Formulate data hypotheses and methodologies, evaluate analytics models, generate reports and dashboards, and share insights and findings.

Maintain processes and ensure that all activities are executed according to established procedures. Utilize software and tools to investigate issues, gather performance metrics, and generate reports. Diagnose process challenges and initiate actions to sustain or enhance service levels.

Review and identify the benefits and value of techniques, processes, or tools, recommending improvements where applicable.

Collaborate with end users, managers, departments, developers, and team members to procure specific IT hardware and software asset management data.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, Business discipline, or equivalent experience is required.

At least 6 years of experience as a business, data, or technical analyst is necessary.

At least 5 years of experience as a business, data, or technical analyst is necessary.

A minimum of 3 years of experience with ServiceNOW is required, with HAM/EAM/SAM experience preferred.

Experience in a healthcare or hospital/medical-related industry is preferred.

Familiarity with project life cycle and project management methodologies is advantageous.

Advanced oral and written communication skills are essential.

This includes the ability to present highly technical concepts, solutions, and issues in a manner that business managers can leverage to support their operations.

Proven abilities in problem management, process analysis, and root cause analysis are required.

Certifications in Agile, Scrum, ASQ, IEEE, ACM, or other related software engineering disciplines are preferred.

ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

Ability to leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to recommend solutions is essential.

Scripting experience is highly desirable.


Advanced understanding and comfort in guiding business and technology partners through a structured development and/or implementation life cycle and support model.


Capability to comprehend technology projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives, and the ability to present those concepts to both IT and non-IT leadership in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, schedule, and meet deadlines is required.

Ability to work independently and in a complex, matrixed, and particularly outsourced team environment is essential.

Experience with software and hardware true-up and audits is preferred.

Proficient command of key productivity applications is required.

Operational knowledge of CommonSpirit business operations, legacy systems, interfaces/EDI, and evolving technology is desired.

Understanding of contract management and the financial responsibilities associated with contracts is preferred.
