Job Responsibilities

As a CT Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating CT equipment to generate detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Preparing patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning.
  • Interpreting physician's scanning instructions and administering contrast materials as needed.
  • Assisting radiologists with procedures, including biopsies and medication administration.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and monitoring supply inventory.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Preferred ARRT-CT certification and relevant experience in CT imaging.
