Position Overview

The Engagement and Annual Giving Programs (EAGP) at NCAA offer significant opportunities for volunteerism, service, and professional growth, along with events and initiatives designed to foster loyalty and philanthropic support among alumni and supporters.

This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Digital Communications and will assist the team in creating all digital and print marketing materials aimed at promoting the various events and initiatives organized by EAGP.

The position will ensure that all materials are produced on schedule, align with brand standards, and adhere to budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities

Provide marketing assistance, including proofreading and editing to ensure compliance with organizational style and branding guidelines; develop marketing materials such as presentations, event signage, and more; manage photo editing and organization.

Conduct data analysis and monitor marketing campaigns and initiatives, including email and text messaging efforts. Engage in creative and competitive research and benchmarking.

Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing budgets, creating and distributing agendas, and taking notes.

Assist with project management and coordination.

Support and participate in occasional events during evenings or weekends as part of the EAGP team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in marketing and/or communications, ideally within higher education or advancement.
- Background in a professional office environment.
- Proficiency in software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and standard office tools.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Marketing Cloud or similar.
- Knowledge of AP Style.
- Experience collaborating with printers, mail houses, and other vendors.
- Basic skills in Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
- Ability to build strong relationships with staff, administrators, and external stakeholders.

Demonstrate a commitment to the mission of NCAA and an understanding of the importance of relationships with alumni, parents, and supporters.

Possess a passion for integrated marketing communications and a willingness to learn about complex programs and partnerships to help achieve departmental objectives.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and utilize technology-based tools such as a constituent database, Google Analytics, and SharePoint.

Strong listening skills, quick learning ability, and effectiveness in a complex organizational environment.
