Automation Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work on improving the reliability of process control systems and meet current and projected customer, business, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Work to improve the reliability of process control systems through activities such as people focus, equipment focus, and standards gatekeeping.
- Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
- Demonstrate awareness of systematic problem-solving in everyday life.
- Schedule and execute plans in coordination with operations schedules.
- Own self-development and initiative to build an understanding of automation applications and systems.
- Adhere to automation standards and implement necessary changes to automation-related specifications and maintenance plans.
- Support Engineering Technicians.
- Assist in coaching and training colleagues and stakeholders.
- Operate in compliance with a quality-first mindset.
- Assist in implementing process changes and investigating process deviations.
- Work closely with operations to identify process gaps and focus on continuous improvement.
- Support corporate, DFP, local IT, and local stakeholder initiatives and projects.
- Govern behavior based on the Novo Nordisk Way.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, and/or packaging systems.
- Knowledgeable in technologies such as PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian, and general controls.
- Knowledge in planning/organization, follow-up, and completion.
