Job Description

The Senior Technical Leader is a seasoned professional dedicated to driving technological innovation and strategic growth within the organization. This role involves close collaboration with product managers to explore technological possibilities and guide the development of cutting-edge products.

This is a chance for a highly skilled technologist to solve complex business problems for a large-scale IT Modernization project. The ideal candidate will bring forth innovative ideas for technology, seeking solutions for both internal clients and external customers.

This is a remote role with occasional travel to Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be based in the USA and available to work Pacific Standard Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Innovative Solution Development: Identify and develop unique, innovative solutions to complex business problems. Leverage emerging technologies and creative approaches to create breakthrough products and services.
  2. Technical Guidance for Product Managers: Work closely with product managers to understand business needs and provide guidance on technological possibilities and options. Help translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
  3. Research and Exploration: Conduct research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Stay ahead of technological advancements and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  4. Prototyping and Proof-of-Concepts: Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate the feasibility and potential of new ideas. Collaborate with engineering teams to transition successful prototypes into full-scale development.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of innovative solutions. Facilitate open communication and coordination across teams.
  6. Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams on innovative practices and emerging technologies. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the organization.
  7. Strategic Vision and Planning: Contribute to the development of the organization's innovation strategy and technology roadmap. Align innovation initiatives with business objectives and long-term goals.
