Production Manager

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the team members on the production lines, ensuring the execution of production plans, and promoting a culture of quality and care.
About the Role:- Oversee manufacturing operations and support staff in achieving production goals, ensuring seamless execution of production plans.
- Lead the line team in operational activities, guaranteeing the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment are available and properly utilized.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of product quality, sanitation, and employee safety, adhering to FDA guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement plans and policies to ensure compliance with HACCP/SQF program guidelines.
- Direct and guide operators/leads in their activities for assigned areas/shifts, ensuring the execution of production and/or logistics plans, and promoting a culture of quality and care.
- Participate in the development of and implement plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility, focusing on process improvement and efficiency.
- Responsible for team development of employees to ensure proper mixing, machining, and packaging in assigned areas according to targeted specifications, and promoting a culture of quality and care.
- Develop and implement problem-solving processes to resolve and/or mitigate operational issues that result in negative performance to plan, and promoting a culture of quality and care.
- Ensure adherence to all standard work processes, lean processes, 5S, SIC, DMS, DDS, and other relevant processes, and promoting a culture of quality and care.
- Responsible for compliance with all regulations, including food safety, plant sanitation, and employee safety policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of quality and care.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4-7 years of related experience, with a strong background in processing, packing, and mechanical operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in SAP an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and lead and motivate others, with a strong focus on team development and employee engagement.
- Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
