Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is currently in search of a Radiation Oncologist to enhance our esteemed and expanding faculty. We are particularly interested in candidates with a specialization in Gynecologic and/or Sarcoma Malignancies to further develop our service offerings and elevate our program. A background in Brachytherapy is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of post-training experience; however, we welcome applications from recent graduates who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance.

The selected candidate must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and should exhibit the technical expertise, scholarly aptitude, and clinical experience necessary to establish and sustain a robust multidisciplinary clinical practice. Our objectives include addressing the needs of a rapidly expanding community and enhancing our cancer program.

As part of our faculty, you will have the opportunity for an adjunct appointment with a prestigious cancer center, based on your qualifications and achievements. There are ample opportunities for scholarly pursuits, including clinical research and participation in various studies.

Qualifications:

  • Specialization in Gynecologic and/or Sarcoma Malignancies is preferred.
  • Experience in Brachytherapy is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of post-training experience is ideal, but exceptional recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Certification by the American Board of Radiology is required.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
  • Certification by the American Board of Radiology is essential.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in Florida is required.
  • A valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license is necessary.
