About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Partner-SLED Sales to join our team at Verizon. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with our Public Sector - SLED customers to understand their business needs and develop strategic plans to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate industry, business, and customer trends within government and education accounts to build strategic plans that drive sales.
  • Develop deep relationships with customers and understand their businesses, markets, and challenges.
  • Craft creative solutions to help customers achieve their goals.
  • Sell services and data center solutions to help customers connect better and become more efficient.
  • Create winning outcomes for both Verizon and our customers.
  • Demonstrate value to customers to ensure they choose our solution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in account development and leadership.
  • Experience in selling network and data center solutions like cloud computing, security, and call center solutions, and CPE offerings.
  • Ability to meet or exceed challenging sales targets.
  • Experience in developing large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.
  • Good communication skills to effectively position new ideas.
  • Experience in persuading and negotiating to create desired outcomes.
  • Experience in balancing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in selling to government and education verticals.
