About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Skills Trainer to join our team at Trillium Family Services. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing daily support and structure to help them manage their mental health symptoms.
  • Deliver skills training to clients, focusing on areas such as hygiene, social interactions, and emotional regulation.
  • Model and coach clients on healthy behaviors and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for clients.
Work Schedule and Compensation

We offer a flexible schedule with opportunities for awake overnight shifts, day shifts, and swing shifts. Our starting rate of pay is $20.17/hour, with additional differentials for certain shifts and units.

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a psychiatric/behavioral health treatment facility with children or adolescents is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License for the state of residence and insurance.
  • Basic computer knowledge for electronic record keeping.
