Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to provide on-call coverage and support for our sports medicine team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing immediate assessment, evaluation, and treatment of injuries, as well as coordinating activities to prevent injuries and promote overall health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-call coverage for sports medicine events and activities
  • Assess, evaluate, and treat injuries in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs to promote overall health and wellness
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience
  • Oregon Athletic Trainer License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • BOC (Board of Certification of athletic trainer's membership)
  • Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience working in a school or college environment as an athletic trainer
