About the Role

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in driving New Product Introduction (NPI) from program initiation through successful launch. As a key member of our team, you will leverage engineering judgment and experience to ensure that new products and processes are safe, effective, and meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings and contribute to team development for internal requirements.
  • Verify layout data, customer-specific requirements, and Risk Priority Number (RPN) reductions.
  • Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data and align product design with scale production, ensuring exceptional quality for critical equipment.
  • Document results for specific program characteristics and ensure that internal and external requirements are met.
  • Develop Control Plans, Capability Studies, Part layouts, Inspection Instructions, and other necessary documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing process, new product development, and NPI.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, PPAP, SPC, Gage R&R, FMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, Capability Studies, Engineering Change Orders, and Part Layout.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $93,750 - $113,125 per year, based on location and experience. Actalent offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, LTD, STD, life insurance, 401(k), and stock purchase plan.
