Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced AP Clerk to join our team at Advantex for a long-term temporary role with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and excellent data entry skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit AP invoices against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter invoices into the Great Plains system and maintain vendor records/files.
  • Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Print and review AP aging reports to facilitate payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate and organized AP filing systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in AP, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic Excel skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and colleagues.
