Guidewire Inc, a non-profit human services agency, is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to oversee the Medication Administration Program and coordinate healthcare for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The Role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a current license in good standing within the state of Massachusetts and a minimum of two years' experience in acute medical/surgical nursing. The successful candidate will have strong computer skills and excellent communication and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Medication Administration Program (MAP) and coordinate healthcare for individuals served by Guidewire Inc.
  • Consult with Program Directors and Managers to ensure access to routine medical care and follow-up as needed.
  • Conduct MAP classes and recertification sessions monthly and as needed.
  • Provide staff education and training on MAP and health-related issues.
  • Develop and manage quality assurance programs in licensed, certified residential and day programs.
